A Phoenix Contact string combiner box (SCB) collects multiple DC power feeds from photovoltaic module arrays and merges them into a single centralized output for the inverter. These junction units are widely deployed in commercial and utility-scale solar installations to streamline cabling, provide overcurrent protection, and simplify maintenance access across different maximum power point tracking channels.
