EMDX³ modular energy meters are used to measure the active and reactive electrical energy consumed/produced by a single-phase or three-phase circuit downstream of the power distribution meter. They display the energy consumption of the measured circuit as well as other values and transmit them to monitoring or energy management systems. The display is also done on the product by an LCD screen, and some meters are MID compatible for the rebilling of the energy consumed. EMDX³ control panels count the energy consumed by the different circuits, measure the electrical (intensity, voltage, power, etc.) or analog (temperature) values to check the correct operation of the installation. They monitor the quality of energy by harmonic analysis and the measurement of reactive energy and communicate the measured values to the energy monitoring or management systems, in order to optimize the consumption and energy quality of the electrical circuits.
